Custom attendee label printing now available

June 29, 2022, Moorestown, NJ / ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE / — RunSignup, the leading check-in provider for endurance events in the United States, announces RaceDay CheckIn now with custom label printing. Race events using the RaceDay CheckIn app can now print personalized participant information to create more efficient processing during package collection and on race day. Labels placed on participants’ bibs can contain a number of custom fields, such as name, age, event the participant is attending, team name, corral, bib number and size of the t-shirt. The RaceDay CheckIn app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and transmits data to the label printer using local WiFi services. RunSignup’s RaceDay CheckIn app is a free product designed for race organizers to provide an efficient race day check-in experience and overcome challenges typical of race operations. Over one million participants have already been checked in with the RaceDay CheckIn app this year.

“We have introduced the RaceDay CheckIn app to help events resolve typical issues that can arise when processing people through packet collection. With the app, events are able to avoid long lines and frustrated attendees, and can ask volunteers to make necessary changes instead of routing people to escalation tables. This new label printing feature provides increased efficiency by displaying important personalized information on event material and helps to avoid miscommunications and confusion on race day,” said Bob Bickel, founder and CEO of RunSignup.

With this new version, event organizers can select the fields they want to print on the personalized labels which are then stuck on the participant’s bib or other event materials. Events can choose to use a single field or add multiple fields. This avoids the need for race staff to search for individual information, such as t-shirt size, and quickly communicates key information to those working the check-in process or facilitating the course on the day. of the race.

Events can customize layout and font format and a variety of label sizes. Participant data for the label is transmitted from the app using WiFi technology and uses the print function of Android and Apple operating systems. RunSignup has certified compatibility with the Brother QL-810w printer.

RaceDay Check-In is deployed via the App Store and is available on Android or Apple tablets and phones. Race organizers can continue to use RaceDay CheckIn when uneven cell conditions exist and data will automatically load and sync when cell service connection is restored.

The RaceDay CheckIn app is one of many products offered by RunSignup as part of its RaceDay suite of technology products designed to meet essential race day needs. Other products include RaceJoy, RaceDay Scoring, The Race Director, RaceDay Photos, RaceDay Registration, RaceDay Results and RaceDay Bib Management.
