What happens if you accidentally start a chapter and then skip to the next one by mistake?

Sick! This is great news for people like me who don’t live in the US and therefore can’t subscribe to Shonen Jump (I don’t know if some countries can, but at least not where I live ). I must say that I love reading physical manga and I still have a lot to read, but I will definitely use it if the pile of unread physical manga runs out.

That’s excellent news ! Now I can finally read Jujutsu Kaisen without having to put up with our awful print version. Also consider Undead Unluck and Even If You Slit My Mouth. Probably not much else for me, though. Maybe there’s another hidden rom/com gem in the mix, it might just take a peek or two. Recommendations are welcome ^^

There’s a witch watch, which is super cute and by the same author as Air Gear and Blue Box, which doesn’t have a lot of com but definitely has a lot of roms.

Think you got it all mixed up. Witch Watch is from Kenta Shinohara, the creator of Sket Dance and Astra Lost In Space.

I guess you’re out of luck. The restriction formerly seems a little draconian. Even anime streaming sites don’t.

SAKAMOTO DAYS is hilarious and amazing, and there really is nothing quite like it.
The Elusive Samurai (by Yusei Matsui of Neuro/ass class fame) is quite entertaining, if you don’t mind the edutainment vibe going to 11.
Choujin X (by Sui Ishida of tokyo ghoul fame) is also fun and feels less cynical evil man.
Doron Doron and PPPPPPP are also good (and I need to pick them up in the chapters I missed), but they’re both in the U18 league, so the ax may be imminent.
And then there is Rough diamond, which isn’t part of this campaign (it’s a Jump Plus series, so already 100% free), but has great characters and rock-solid world-building.

So what does that say for titles like “Tis Time for ‘Torture’, Princess” which already had all the chapters for free? I’d like to assume the single read restriction wouldn’t apply, but you never know.

All series chapters that are not also in the Shonen Jump service are still completely free. Including past and present Shonen Jump+ titles that Viz does not license. ‘Tis Time for “Torture”, Princess is one of them, so it’s completely free.
The list in this article appears to be all English titles that are actively published. Those to which First Read Free applies are a subset of this.
I guess it’s possible that will change at some point, but that wouldn’t make sense for titles that are only available through Manga Plus. It looks more like a compromise between Manga Plus and Shonen Jump services. This allows new readers to catch up without the $2/month barrier (which is low, but still more than free) that might lead some people to hack instead.
I did notice, however, that Monster #8 is submitted to First Read Free. Which is weird, because they keep translating it separately from Viz’s much better (from what I can tell) translation Kaiju #8. Maybe that’s changing.

Thin. I just realized that means I can re-read every chapter of Seraph of the End from the beginning and finally make sense of what’s going on.

Yes, really draconian of them to allow users to play their titles once for free without having to pay or anything.
